MEETING THE HIGH STANDARDS OF
ORTHOPEDIC SURGEONS FOR PRECISION AND SIMPLICITY

The KneeAlign® 2 system is designed to
fit within the surgeon's normal technique and to
minimize time and complexity.
The KneeAlign® 2 system is made up of two
key components:
 |
The KneeAlign®
2 surgical navigation
unit
About the size of a cell phone, the KneeAlign® 2 unit is fixed to the
KneeAlign® 2 distal femoral and tibial instrumentation, allowing the surgeon
to view the display while staying focused within the surgical field. The
KneeAlign® 2 navigation unit enables the surgeon to adjust the orientation
of the distal femoral and tibial cutting blocks to his/her desired pre-operative
goals. The KneeAlign® 2 user interface is clear, simple and quickly guides
the surgeon through the procedure.
|
 |
The KneeAlign® 2 Distal Femoral and Tibial Instrumentation
The KneeAlign® 2 unit is used in combination with the KneeAlign® 2 distal
femoral and tibial instrumentation. These user-friendly instruments are
similar to existing conventional instrumentation. However, when integrated
with the KneeAlign® 2 navigation unit, the KneeAlign® 2 distal femoral and
tibial instrumentation enable the surgeon to quickly establish the femoral and
tibial mechanical axes by registering easily identifiable anatomic landmarks.
The surgeon can then precisely measure and set the orientation of the distal femoral and tibial cutting blocks.
