Brendan Kiernan, MD

Brendan Kiernan, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement, with advanced expertise in the direct anterior approach for both partial and total joint replacement.

Dr. Kiernan attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he completed a Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics. He went on to complete his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Massachusetts. To further refine his skills in joint replacement, Dr. Kiernan completed fellowship training in Adult Joint Reconstruction at the University of California-Davis.

Dr. Kiernan’s clinical focus includes the use of the direct anterior approach for hip replacement, as well as advanced techniques in partial and total knee arthroplasty.
