Daniel Whiting, MD, performs all primary hip replacements using the minimally invasive anterior approach, which promotes faster recovery, less pain, and lower dislocation risk. Most hip replacement patients go home the same or next day. He also offers advanced knee reconstruction, including osteotomies, partial and total knee replacements, and revisions, with most patients discharged on surgery day. Originally from Aberdeen, Washington, Dr. Whiting earned his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University, his medical degree from St. Louis University, and completed his orthopedic residency at the Mayo Clinic. He further honed his skills with a fellowship in anterior hip replacement and hip preservation at The Orthopedic Surgery Hospital in Salt Lake City.
